# 49 Iridescent

I started this painting in the early hours of the morning, and finished the final touches a few moments ago.

"Iridescent"

Lyrically, "Iridescent" tells a story, and I wanted to take a key scene from that story and use it here. I decided to leave a fraction of the canvas bare to make it seem as if this "burst of light" was slowly taking over the canvas. I really like this effect.
