Preparing for Wretches

As you know, the next painting on the agenda is "Wretches & Kings".

This track is probably my second favourite from A Thousand Suns, and so naturally, I want to do a good job at it. This may come as a surprise, but this is not the first time I've attempted to paint Wretches & Kings. Last year, I entered an Australian t-shirt competition to win a meet and greet with Linkin Park. Yes, I didn't win, but I wasn't at all surprised because my entry was weak. Here's the painting I entered;

I had a good idea, but I simply couldn't pull it off. This time around, I'm hoping to do a better job!
