# 13 Foreword

Just finished the next painting! Just waiting for it to dry, then I'll upload some pics.

So, what brilliant ideas were hatched from a 13 second track? Well, this.

"Foreword"

My initial idea was to create a shattered glass effect across the top of this image - but I couldn't get it to work so instead I painted a few lazy strokes in the background. Then I had a great idea of actually shattering an old mirror, and then sticking the pieces onto the canvas - but I didn't want to risk seven years bad luck.

So instead, this was the end result. Definitely not my best effort, but I'm hoping to redeem myself next week for "Don't Stay."

Already, I've got a few ideas in the works.
